Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Capsules - 60 Capsules
Hyaluronic acid and collagen – the two structural building blocks of skin*
The thickest layer of the skin consists essentially of two components: a network of collagen fibres that gives it firmness, and a ground substance in which hyaluronic acid is quantitatively the most important component. The body produces both itself – and its own production of both decreases over the years.
This formula addresses both points: 300 mg of hyaluronic acid directly, plus 200 mg of vitamin C, which contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin.*
300 mg of hyaluronic acid – and why two figures appear on the label
In capsules, hyaluronic acid is not used as the free acid, but as its sodium salt: sodium hyaluronate. This is the raw material that is actually filled into the capsules – and it is not identical to what ultimately counts as hyaluronic acid.
We use 340 mg of sodium hyaluronate, equivalent to 300 mg of hyaluronic acid. Both figures appear on the label. Anyone who states only one makes comparison impossible – and usually states the larger one.
At 300 mg, the amount is also considerably higher than usual in this product group; most products on the market provide between 100 and 200 mg per daily serving.
What hyaluronic acid is in the body
Hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan – a long chain of alternating glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine. It is a natural component of human connective tissue and occurs primarily in the skin, as well as in cartilage and synovial fluid. An adult body contains around 15 grams in total, and approximately half of it is found in the skin.
200 mg of vitamin C – not merely an add-on*
Vitamin C is included in this formula for a specific biochemical reason: it is a cofactor of the enzymes prolyl and lysyl hydroxylase. Without this step, collagen cannot be stably cross-linked – the formation of the body’s own connective tissue therefore depends directly on vitamin C supply. A hyaluronic-acid product without vitamin C simply leaves this second strand untouched.
At 200 mg per capsule, the content is 250% of the nutrient reference value. Authorised claims for vitamin C:
- contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin
- contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones and cartilage
- contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress
- contributes to the normal function of the immune system

Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Capsules - 60 Capsules
Hyaluronic acid 300 mg + vitamin C –
for skin and connective tissue*
Far more hyaluronic acid in each capsule than in standard products
Two structural components, one capsule*
The thickest layer of our skin – the dermis – is characterised primarily by a network of collagen fibres and a water-binding ground substance in which hyaluronic acid is a central component. With increasing age, the levels and metabolism of both components change. The formulation combines 300 mg of hyaluronic acid with 200 mg of vitamin C.
*Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin.
Why vitamin C is not merely an add-on here*
200 mg of vitamin C, equivalent to 250% NRV, in every capsule – for a specific biochemical reason: vitamin C is involved in the formation and stabilisation of collagen. It is therefore included here at a functional dose, not merely added in trace amounts. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin and helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.
*Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, bones and cartilage and contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
340 mg of raw material, 300 mg of hyaluronic acid
In capsules, hyaluronic acid is usually used as its sodium salt, sodium hyaluronate. The two figures are not the same. We use 340 mg of sodium hyaluronate and separately state the resulting 300 mg of hyaluronic acid. Other manufacturers conceal this distinction and always state the larger figure.
300 mg – clearly above many standard dosages
You will find very different daily doses on the market depending on the product: many products provide 100 or 200 mg. Our capsule provides 300 mg and therefore considerably more than many lower-dosed products – in a single capsule instead of spread across two or three.
15 grams in the body, over 50% in the skin
An adult body contains a total of around 15 grams of hyaluronic acid – and more than half of it is found in the skin. The remainder is distributed, among other places, in cartilage and synovial fluid.

FAQs
How much hyaluronic acid is in one capsule?
300 mg, obtained from 340 mg of sodium hyaluronate. In capsules, hyaluronic acid is usually used as its sodium salt – which is why we state both figures.
Why are two different figures shown on the label?
Because they refer to different things. 340 mg is the amount of sodium hyaluronate raw material used; 300 mg is the resulting hyaluronic acid content. When comparing products, it is worth checking which of the two figures a supplier states.
How much is usual compared with other products?
You will find very different daily doses on the market: many products provide 100 or 200 mg, while others provide 300 to 500 mg or more. This product provides 300 mg and therefore considerably more than many lower-dosed products – in a single capsule.
Why is vitamin C included?
In addition to hyaluronic acid, the extracellular matrix of the skin mainly contains collagen fibres. Vitamin C is a cofactor of the enzymes prolyl and lysyl hydroxylase and is therefore involved in the formation and stabilisation of collagen. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin. At 200 mg per capsule, it provides 250% of the nutrient reference value.
Where is hyaluronic acid found in the body?
An adult body contains around 15 grams of hyaluronic acid, more than half of it in the skin. The remainder is distributed, among other places, in cartilage and synovial fluid. Chemically, it is a glycosaminoglycan – a long chain of alternating glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine. The body produces it itself and continuously breaks it down again.
When is the best time to take the capsule?
Take one capsule daily with sufficient liquid; the timing is up to you. Regular intake is more important than timing.
How long does one bottle last?
60 days. At one capsule daily, 60 capsules cover two full months.
Who is this product not suitable for?
Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women or for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
